Tottenham loanee Joe Rodon is poised to depart the club permanently this summer, according to Football Insider.
On the current episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior journalist Pete O’Rourke stated that Leeds United would “love” to make his loan arrangement permanent.
The 26-year-old is now on a season-long loan at Elland Road, having made 44 appearances thus far.
In March, Football Insider reported that Spurs are willing to let the centre-back join the Whites permanently if their asking price of £10-15 million is reached.
Spurs loanee ready for permanent North London exodus
Rodon has already played more for Leeds than for Spurs, despite only making 24 appearances for the latter.
O’Rourke stated that the defender has had a “very good” season for the Championship club, with the centre-back becoming a regular under Daniel Farke.
This is the player’s second loan spell away from North London, having previously spent time with French club Rennes.
He has appeared 40 times in the Championship for Leeds as they seek promotion, as well as four FA Cup games.
Following a fantastic run in early 2024, the Elland Road club has dropped to third place in the table, one point behind Leicester City and two behind Ipswich Town.
They are currently winless in their previous three games, most recently losing 1-0 at home to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday (April 13).
