Leeds United have acknowledged control of Elland Road Limited at Companies House, a document has revealed.
Finance expert Kieran Maguire shared a paper dated January 17 that identified Leeds United Football Club Limited as a person with considerable power.
This comes after the Whites revealed in July 2024 that the stadium was fully owned by the team.
Leeds United can go on and seek to return to the premier league.
Elland Road was sold in 2004 as the club faced financial difficulties, so it’s great to see it return to its rightful owner.
It is without a doubt an essential step in the right direction for the team, which hopes to return to the Premier League.
Plenty of promise was exhibited under Marcelo Bielsa, and with better ownership, the team would have likely remained in the first tier.
Hopefully, the 49ers have a plan in place following promotion, and fans will be enthusiastic about their chances this season.
Daniel Farke has done a terrific job this time around despite losing a lot of key players, his Leeds side are in pole position to secure promotion.
It remains to be seen if there are any additions in the January transfer window to strengthen the first team.
