Leeds United have confirmed that Sam Chambers has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The Whites announced the move in a statement on their website on Tuesday (19 March), with the 17-year-old’s contract continuing until the summer of 2026.

The midfielder, who has been capped by Scotland at underage level, has played regularly for the club’s U-18s this season.

Leeds United sign promising talent following Sam Chambers announcement.

Chambers has signed his first professional deal with Leeds, which will be good news for everyone involved.

The two-year contract will allow the midfielder to continue his development at Thorp Arch and move up in the development squads.

While he hopes to become a future star at Elland Road, his immediate goal is to play more games for the U-21s after earning his Premier League 2 debut.

The Whites certainly believe he is a bright potential and will be pleased to have ensured one of their young players’ immediate futures.

After watching certain academy players make an impact in the first-team system under Daniel Farke, younger youngsters can understand that there is a road to the senior team.
