Max Wober is anticipated to be out of full Leeds United training until the first week of November due to a meniscus injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert argues that the operation he underwent was most likely a meniscus trim with the inflamed area removed.
According to Leeds Live, the 26-year-old last featured for the Whites in the EFL Cup on August 14 in a 3-0 loss to Middlesbrough and appears to be recovering ahead of time.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a Physical Therapist and Sports Scientist, said of Wober: “Given his six-week return timetable, this was most likely a meniscus trim in which the surgeon removed the inflamed section of the meniscus.
“I expect him to return to individual training around a month following the procedure.
“As it seems he’s ahead of schedule, I’d say he’ll be out of full first-team training until the first week of November and then ramp up to team training and then bounce matches.”
Max Wober will be like a new signing for Daniel Farke’s Leeds United
Daniel Farke will treat Wober’s return as if he were a fresh signing because he was unavailable last season.
The Austria international was on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach for the 2023/24 season and is currently injured.
Hopefully, he does not encounter any issues in his rehab and can return to first-team football in November.
