Leeds United winger Dan James is expected to be out for a few more weeks, according to Dr. Rajpal Brar.
According to the injury expert, he may not be able to return to action for at least three weeks, but this could alter depending on his rehabilitation progress.
The Wales international missed the weekend’s game against Rotherham and is unlikely to be fit for the match against Swansea on February 13.
In an exclusive interview with MOT Leeds News, Brar, a Physical Therapist and Sports Scientist, stated about James:
“Sounds like a Grade 3 out of 4 adductor injury, which means more than three weeks away.
“The club will implement a thorough and progressive progression plan to ensure his safe and timely return.
“He’s likely to be out of training for a week or two unless he’s at an advanced stage of his recovery.”
Dan James to return to the Leeds United XI?
There is a good fight for places at Elland Road, and Daniel Farke will love pitting his offensive opponents against one another.
James had five goals and five assists in his last five games before being out, and he’ll be knocking on Farke’s door when he returns.
It’s unclear whether he’ll be chosen above Wilfried Gnonto or Jaidon Anthony on the right wing.
