Richard Keys is a man with strong opinions, and he has now been weighed in the statement made by Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
After losing 2-0 to Everton at Goodison Park, the Reds went all out in the Premier League and the PGMOL competition.
Forest were denied three penalties, and following the game, the Reds took aim at VAR official Stuart Attwell, who appears to be a Luton fan.
Forest’s statement received criticism from Alan Shearer and Micah Richards, causing quite a commotion.
Forest are still in serious relegation trouble, and a win does not appear to be in the cards right now.
Now, Keys has spoken in on the weekend’s events, namely the ones involving Forest.

Keys has targeted the PGMOL, specifically Howard Webb.
The expert who now anchors for beIN Sports International believes Forest did the right thing with their conduct.
Keys defended Forest on his personal blog, writing: “I have nothing but sympathy for Forest supporters today.
“I know we haven’t always agreed, but I support you now. What a travesty it was at Goodison.
“No one at Forest suggested that Attwell would have a negative impact on the game.
“I don’t believe any referee sets out to make wrong choices, but there’s always the potential of a game ending the way it did – with questionable rulings and a smell to boot.
“Howard Webb was completely aware of the dangers. He should have stood Stuart Attwell down. Referees wished to take a larger role on match days. They wanted to be pros. They hoped to be taken seriously. With those things come accountability and scrutiny. I’m sorry, but that’s how things are now. We all live in that world.

We don’t agree with everything Forest said after losing to the Toffees, but it’s plenty.
Refereeing standards in this country have been nothing short of awful for the past year, if not longer.
Now is the time for analysts to stand up for some of the teams, and Keys has done just that for Forest.
Forest will undoubtedly face severe consequences for their actions on Sunday, but maybe this serves as a wake-up call for Webb to fix refereeing standards.
