David Ornstein scares Liverpool fans by describing the ‘massive difficulties’ confronting Slot

Liverpool fans haven’t seen a new signing arrive in the club’s last two transfer windows, and David Ornstein has supplied a summer report that may disturb our followers.

Speaking on NBC Sports, the journalist stated: “There is no news on Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, or Trent Alexander-Arnold, and those are major issues that they will have to deal with.”

Not adding new recruits is terrible enough for some supporters, but seeing the contract status of three of our finest players drag on for months would undoubtedly irritate many more.

You’d expect Richard Hughes and Arne Slot to want to strengthen their squad in their first transfer window; if that’s not the case, losing Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold can’t be part of the plan either.
