Daniel Farke faces the media today in his Plymouth Argyle pre-match press conference with Leeds United. Here are some of the topics he may confront at Thorp Arch.

Today, Daniel Farke will hold a pre-match press conference. The Leeds United boss will field questions from television, radio, print, and online journalists at Thorp Arch ahead of Saturday’s trip to Plymouth Argyle.

Here’s a rundown of some of the key things on the agenda for the boss to discuss at the training ground.

    Bamford update.
The seasoned striker, who has four goals and an assist in his past six games, was a late withdrawal from the starting lineup against Swansea City after picking up a knock in the warm-up. Will Bamford be ready to face Plymouth?

At Swansea, Joel Piroe replaced Bamford in the attacking lineup. The Dutchman skillfully led the line and scored.

If Bamford is ready to return to action, does he immediately rejoin the team? Or should Farke stick with Piroe?

    Team news

Do United have any new injury concerns heading into Home Park? Pascal Struijk (adductor), Karl Darlow (thumb), and Stuart Dallas (knee) will not be participating.

But may Sam Byram return to Farke’s plans? He had to cancel his trip to South Wales due to a muscle ailment. Jamie Shackleton also missed the Swansea game due to the birth of his son.

    Squad rotation
Farke was able to give a handful of marginal players valuable playing time the last time out. Jaidon Anthony, Mateo Joseph, and Joe Gelhardt all appeared as second-half substitutes.

Connor Roberts and Dan James, both on loan from Burnley, also saw action. Roberts is eager to make his debut, while James must replace Wilfried Gnonto on the right wing.

But, after another long week of travel, is Farke considering rearranging the pack?

    We meet again!
This will be United’s fourth match against Plymouth in four months. The Whites won 2-1 at Elland Road, securing maximum points.

However, Farke’s side needed a replay and extra time to go to the FA Cup fifth round. Crysencio Summerville, Georginho Rutter, and a Ryan Hardie own goal in extra time saw United win 4-1, setting up a mouth-watering encounter with Chelsea.

What type of test does Farke anticipate this time around? Does having an extra day to relax and recoup give United a significant advantage?

    Promotional Picture

Isn’t it getting really thrilling at the top? Southampton, who visit Elland Road on the season’s last day, can retake second place if they defeat West Bromwich Albion on Friday night. United will be hoping the Baggies will do them a favor.

What is Farke’s opinion of the promotion battle? Is he expecting it to come down to the wire? How sure is he that United will retain their nerve in the final stretch?
