Rangers have signed a potentially lucrative partnership with an American corporation worth more than £6 billion.

Celtic, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Chelsea, and other clubs have also reached similar arrangements.

A total of 13 European clubs have signed similar deals, with Gers among them.

WWE and Rangers sign a merchandising agreement.

WWE announced on March 14 that it had signed a merchandising agreement with Gers, among other clubs.

Rangers Review reported their statement, which read: “The WWE Legacy Title Belts, representing a select group of the world’s largest football clubs, are imprinted with each team’s unique colours and official markings.

“The collection comes after the release of officially licensed NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and Collegiate WWE Legacy Title Belts.”

“The European Football WWE Legacy Title Belts are available to pre-order now from Euroshop, WWE Shop and Fanatics and will be available to purchase through select club shops and WWE Live event venues soon.”

The unveiling of the Legacy Title Belts will benefit the Ibrox outfit substantially from their marketing agreement with WWE.

This relationship with a global entertainment behemoth worth more than £6 billion (Companies Market Cap) exposes the Ibrox club to a huge, diverse audience beyond traditional football supporters, tapping into WWE’s millions of devoted followers worldwide.

Rangers’ brand prominence is enhanced by their collaboration with major European teams such as Juventus, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain in this one-of-a-kind product line, presenting them as a prominent name in international football culture.

The belts, adorned with the club’s iconic blue colors and official branding, offer fans a novel way to showcase their allegiance, merging the theatrical flair of wrestling with football loyalty.

Drew McIntyre’s presence also plays a major role

Financially, this partnership promises a lucrative revenue stream.

Pre-orders through Euroshop, WWE Shop and Fanatics, alongside future availability at club shops and WWE live events, broaden Gers’ merchandising reach, especially in markets like North America where WWE enjoys a stronghold.

The connection with WWE superstar Drew McIntyre, a vocal Rangers fan, adds authenticity and star power, which could drive sales even higher among wrestling fans familiar with his fandom.

His visit to Ibrox with Piper Niven prior to Clash at the Castle hinted at this collaboration, and his influence could boost marketing efforts.

Beyond profit, this venture strengthens the club’s global fanbase, fostering deeper engagement through a crossover appeal that blends sport and entertainment.

As Rangers continue their Europa League campaign, this partnership boosts their off-pitch reputation, strengthening their status as a club with ambition and inventive commercial vision.
