Isaac Schmidt has been chosen to FC St Gallen’s starting XI for their match against Trabzonspor on August 29, ahead of his deadline-day move to Leeds United.

Despite having already signed Jayden Bogle this transfer window, Daniel Farke has expressed a strong desire to recruit another full-back before August 30.
The club has already lost Archie Gray to Tottenham this window, and with Stuart Dallas’ retirement and the departure of stalwart Luke Ayling, the Whites have found themselves short on full-backs.
The other two natural full-backs in the team are Sam Byram and Junior Firpo, but having only three of them for the first half of the season would be a difficult situation, especially given Firpo’s injury history.
