“Leeds United Face Crucial Decisions as Three Senior Players Enter Final Months of Their Contracts”

With Junior Firpo, Sam Byram, and Joshua Guilavogui approaching the end of their deals, Leeds United must act quickly to secure their futures or risk losing them for free come July 1.

Despite their importance, no decisions have been made on the trio yet. Manager Daniel Farke acknowledged the situation, noting the focus must remain on current performance: “There is no time to be distracted by contract talks. We’ll address this when there’s more time to do so.”

With the futures of Junior Firpo, Sam Byram, and Joshua Guilavogui up in the air, Leeds United are facing a pivotal moment.

Firpo, whose attacking prowess has made him a key part of Daniel Farke’s squad, is now represented by the prominent Spanish agency You First, sparking rumors of interest from his former club, Real Betis. Meanwhile, Byram has been a consistent presence in the Championship, making 26 appearances this season, while Guilavogui has featured 13 times in various roles since joining in October.

Farke remains focused on the immediate task at hand, stating: “There is no time to waste on injuries or think about individuals. The players know they can trust us. We’ll have proper conversations when the time is right, but right now, it’s not the time to do this.” With the summer transfer window fast approaching, Leeds United must act swiftly to secure the futures of these crucial players.
