Danny Mills has advised Leeds United fans to be “careful” about taking anything for granted following their team’s return to form.
The Whites have won four of their previous six games and presently sit third in the Championship, three points behind league leaders Sunderland.
Mills spoke live on Sky Sports News (23 October, 19:38pm) about Leeds’ aspirations following what he heard after the 2-1 win over Watford on Tuesday.
“I was there last night, and the supporters were saying ‘we’ll go for a run now,’ and I was thinking’steady on’. “You’re 11 games into the season, so be careful,” he added.

“When it’s going well, Leeds have one of the best atmospheres; when it’s not going so well it’s a tough place to play and a lot of players got found out last year.”
Leeds United must maintain their championship form.
Leeds have been one of the Championship’s best-performing clubs in recent months, and they have begun to compete for the top two slots.
Their season got off to a rocky start, with West Yorkshire losing points to West Brom and Portsmouth.
However, Daniel Farke has managed to turn things around, and with the addition of Josuha Guilavogui, their battle for the crown has never been more intense.
Many expected the team to struggle following the injuries to Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev, but because to some strong performances from Joe Rothwell and Ao Tanaka, the injured duo have not been missed as much.
Guilavogui is undoubtedly a necessity signing, but the fact that he checked off all of Farke’s boxes likely convinced the German to approve the transfer.
If the Whites maintain this level of performance for the rest of the season, it’s difficult to see how they won’t be promoted to the Premier League before the end of the season.
