Tottenham are now attempting to recruit Boris Mamuzah Lum from Hertha Berlin, having already signed another wonderkid, Lucas Bergvall.
Spurs want Boris Mamuzah Lum.
According to BILD, Spurs are making a concerted push to sign the Germany Under-17 international. Lum, who is just 16 years old, is claimed to have previously visited Tottenham and been shown around the club’s facilities at Hotspur Way.
According to BILD, the boy was also invited to watch the 3-1 triumph over Bournemouth at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in December, which he attended with his mother.
According to the German news outlet, Lum’s contract has a €5 million (£4 million) release clause. Hertha Berlin, on the other hand, may accept a lower offer due to their financial need.
Furthermore, BILD claims that Barcelona, Ajax, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, and RB Salzburg are all interested in signing Lum, however he appears to be closest to joining Tottenham.
Who is Boris Mamuzah Lum?
Tottenham has already bought a potentially superb midfielder, Bergvall, who arrived in an £8.5 million deal from Djurgården on transfer deadline day at the beginning of February.
The 18-year-old has been compared to Jude Bellingham and appears to have a very promising future. If Spurs do sign Lum, he and Bergvall might replace Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama in Tottenham’s midfield.
