The two clubs are scheduled to meet in a friendly in Spain on Tuesday night at the Pinatar Arena.
Nottingham Forest’s friendly match with Millwall in Spain on Tuesday night will start one hour later than planned.
The two clubs reached an arrangement as a result of the expected high temperatures over the following few days.
Forest were in action at the Pinatar Arena yesterday night, drawing 1-1 with Sunderland, and will face Neil Harris’ side on Tuesday night.
Earlier in the day, Derby County faced Stockport County, and temperatures reached 40 degrees Celsius as both teams struggled in the conditions.
In light of similar conditions next week, Millwall and Forest agreed to postpone kick-off to 7pm UK time.
According to a club release, Millwall’s pre-season friendly against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night will now start at 8pm (local time, 7pm UK time).
“Due to the scorching forecast for the Pinatar Arena in Spain, the teams have amicably decided to move the game one hour later to allow for milder conditions.
“Supporters unable to make it to Spain can watch the match on Millwall TV for just £5.99 – see the link below for further details.”
