Leeds United have completely cleared out their Premier League players, with a lot of major names leaving Elland Road.
There were always going to be consequences for Leeds United’s failure to win promotion from the Championship last season, with key players garnering the attention of Premier League teams.
Crysencio Summerville has already been signed by West Ham, while Georginio Rutter and Archie Gray have joined Brighton and Tottenham, respectively.
But one player who has yet to leave Leeds is Wilfried Gnonto.
According to Graham Smyth, there is no evidence that Gnonto is considering leaving Leeds despite Everton’s interest.
Graham Smyth shares Wilfried Gnonto’s newest transfer at Leeds United.
You never rule anything out during a transfer window because so many deals appear out of nowhere as the deadline approaches.
And, according to Leeds reporter Graham Smyth, there may be a late move for Wilfried Gnonto, but as of now, all is quiet on that front.
However, given how late it is in the window, it would almost certainly take a massive offer to persuade Leeds to part with probably their best player and a critical promotion piece.
What else is happening at Leeds United?
According to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds are interested in adding a striker this summer, which makes little sense given Farke’s three options in that position.
With the Leeds manager electing to use Mateo Joseph as the lone striker so far this season, adding a fourth striker appears to be overkill unless one of the current batch departs.
Leeds are interested in signing FC Lausanne-Sport midfielder Alvyn Sanches, but they will face heavy competition from Celtic to complete the deal.
