Nottingham Forest have yet to sign Ramón Sosa despite a verbal agreement with CA Talleres.
The Argentine club announced on Wednesday that the winger would return to training after failing to clinch a sale.
This hasn’t pleased the 24-year-old, who, according to TyC Sports, is still hoping to sign with Nottingham Forest this summer.
A’scandal broke out’ at Talleres after Sosa notified the club that he will train alone if his move to the Premier League team does not go through. He did not accompany the squad to face Barracas Central later today.
Talleres is concerned about this, especially with less than a week until the Copa Libertadores match against River Plate.
According to TyC Sports, ‘The truth is that everything remains the same and that the pass will finally be finalised is an open secret in Córdoba.’
Talleres believes that the Paraguay international will eventually join Nottingham Forest.
Olé claims Sosa has’rebelled’ against Talleres over a move to Nottingham Forest.
He is furious with Talleres president Andrés Fassi, who has publicly declared that the Reds reversed everything after orally agreeing to an agreement. The South American club has placed the blame on Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Sosa has informed the club’s sports director, Cholo Guiñazú, that he will not be joining the squad for the upcoming match against River Plate. He believes Nottingham Forest’s offer is adequate and is willing to wait until the end of the transfer window before pursuing a move.
