According to Sky Sports, Leeds United and 49ers Enterprises are now looking for a new “top talent” to sign.
Leeds want at least three more additions before the transfer deadline.
So far this summer, the Whites and Daniel Farke have signed four players: Joe Rodon, Alex Cairns, and Jayden Bogle on permanent contracts, while Joe Rothwell arrived on loan.
The departure list has far surpassed the incoming list, with Crysencio Summerville’s move to West Ham being the latest blow for Leeds.

“It’s not like we just got a full-time player like Archie Gray or Cree Summerville and a lot of money to spend right now. At the moment, we still have to pay for some previous crimes and ensure that we are in compliance with all financial regulations, which is why a club may have to make the decision to sell a player.
“Obviously, when you ask me as a manager, you always want to keep your best players and even add a few more top players, but we still have the situation where we did something wrong in the past and are now paying the consequences.
“Last season, we were pretty disciplined and prudent with our spending. We must exercise caution, and it is an open knowledge that we cannot simply take all of the money from a transfer like Cree and spend it right away. We have really minimal resources.”
A verbal £7 million bid for Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe was made and promptly rejected, and according to The Athletic, Leeds are also looking for a new number eight and another full-back this month. Now, a fresh name has appeared on the club’s transfer list.
Leeds is interested in Bruno Ogbus.
According to Sky Sports writer Florian Plettenberg, Leeds are interested in acquiring Freiburg defender Bruno Ogbus, who is regarded as a “top talent”. AC Milan, the Champions League champions, also shown interest in Ogbus earlier this month.
Ogbus, who is still only 18 years old, is a Swiss youth international who joined Freiburg in Germany in 2022.
Since then, he has made several appearances for Freiburg’s U19s and reserve squad but has yet to make his first-team debut. Leeds likes what they see in Ogbus, so it’s worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks.
