According to Dave Azzopardi, Leeds United are interested in pursuing the signing of Hugo Bueno from Wolves.
The Talking Wolves creator, who has over 20,000 followers on X (4 August), announces that the club has joined the race alongside Celtic and Feyenoord. The proposed move would function as a direct loan.
It follows the confirmed transfer of left-wing superstar Crysencio Summerville to West Ham, as Daniel Farke seeks to strengthen his entire team.
Hugo Bueno joining Leeds United?
Following the departures of players such as Summerville and Archie Gray, it appeared that the team would move rapidly.
As they prepare for the new campaign’s launch this weekend, Farke should begin putting the pieces together. When it comes to Bueno, he may be a true hidden gem signing for Leeds United.
Bueno is imaginative, gritty, and has an amazing engine.
Last season, he made 22 Premier League appearances for Wolves, ranking 97th in successful blocks and 82nd in clearances (FBref). At the age of 21, he is unlikely to be a dominant offensive force, but he is working on improving his game.
In essence, he’s maturing quickly.
He has Premier League experience, is eager to learn, and was a popular presence at Molineux last season. If Leeds can end this one ahead of Celtic, it will be a clear indication of their promotion ambitions.
