Report: Leeds have been monitoring ‘unbelievable’ Liverpool teenager as another club’s £6 million bid is rejected

Leeds United fans will be hopeful that the likely inevitable departure of Crysencio Summerville allows the Whites to step up their transfer activities as the new Championship season approaches.

Summerville is on the approach of joining West Ham, dealing a significant blow to Leeds’ ambitions of overcoming the final obstacle that tripped Daniel Farke’s side up last season.

The Elland Road supporters will be hoping that a deal will allow Farke to bring in more new signings after Joe Rodon, Alex Cairns, Joe Rothwell, and Jayden Bogle arrived.

Leeds have certainly performed well in pre-season ahead of Saturday’s final friendly against Valencia, but there may be some issues from last season that Farke wants to solve before the Championship season begins, such as a lack of goals from central midfield.

Leeds is interested in the Liverpool kid.

Leeds simply cannot afford to go the entire season without a goal from the middle of the field, with Ilia Gruev’s spectacular free-kick against Norwich City ending that streak in the second leg of the play-off semi-final.

According to DaveOCKOP on Instagram, Leeds are one among the teams interested in Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark in recent weeks, which may be a positive sign. According to the account, Red Bull Salzburg’s £6 million deal for the child was rejected, with Pep Lijnders hoping to bring him to Austria. Rangers and Norwich are also said to be admirers.

It is unclear whether Leeds are planning a move for the 19-year-old, but he might be an interesting addition following a season in which he made double-digit appearances for the Reds. Of course, the highlight was his appearance in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

    A very bright future ahead.

Clark has evolved into a center midfielder in recent years, having previously played as a winger for Liverpool’s under-18s, scoring 13 goals in 27 appearances.

Clark has been characterized as a ‘unbelievable’ talent, so a permanent deal may be a wise investment for the future.

Many Leeds fans will undoubtedly prefer a more established name in the short term, since it appears critical that Farke’s side win the promotion race this season.

However, supporters will hope that selling Summerville opens many doors in the closing weeks of the transfer window, especially given how crucial he was last year, so the amount of ties with potential recruits may now rise.
