Forest in negotiations with Talleres about Ramon Sosa deal.
According to HITC, Forest are in negotiations with Argentine club Talleres about their winger Ramon Sosa.
Sosa’s agent had previously expressed strong interest in Chelsea and Everton, with Paraguayan sources acknowledging that conversations with the Toffees took place in January.
“I was in England,” Sosa’s agent, Daniel Campos, told Diario Popular in January, after speaking with Goodison Park manager Kevin Thelwell. “I spoke with Everton’s sports director.”
The highly-rated Paraguayan international has already been linked with Chelsea and Wolves, but HITC can now confirm Forest are interested in signing him.
Forest had been seeking for a winger and had been associated with a number of players, including Fiorentina’s Nicolas Gonzalez, but Sosa is the one they are currently focusing on.
Forest reveals what to expect from ‘technically skilled winger’
According to Argentine sources, the two sides are discussing a sum of roughly €15 million (£12 million) for Sosa’s transfer. Sosa’s move to Forest has yet to be agreed upon.
Nathan Joyes, a South American football analyst, has commented on Sosa, who scored seven goals and assisted six times in 2024.
“Thrives during changes, is technically gifted, and performs well in tight spaces. “Sosa may have been overlooked by many because he is 24 years old,” Joyes added.
