Rasmus Kristensen might leave Leeds United as early as today.
Kristensen is alleged to have flown to Germany last night before completing a medical at Eintracht Frankfurt this morning.
Kristensen will leave Elland Road on a season-long loan for the second year in a row, having previously spent the 2023/24 season with AS Roma, when he struggled.
An option to buy for £15 million has apparently been signed between the two clubs, although it already appears that this number will not be paid unless his circumstances alter dramatically.
Kristensen is likely to become Leeds’ 14th official departure of the summer, though he won’t be the last, according to the persistent conjecture.

Kristensen’s future had been unknown for six weeks, following Brenden Aaronson’s decision to turn down loan offers elsewhere and stay.
Daniel Farke is claimed to have considered bringing him back, but Kristensen’s desire to transfer, combined with the speed of negotiations with Frankfurt, has taken the decision out of his hands.
That leaves Max Wober as the sole member of last summer’s loan army whose immediate future remains uncertain.
Wober was in the same situation as Kristensen, but has failed to find a move, despite having a far stronger season at Borussia Monchengladbach, who cannot afford to sign him permanently.
Graeme Bailey, a transfer analyst, spoke exclusively to LeedsUnited.News regarding Wober’s future, saying that while they are still ‘assessing’ it, he could end up following Kristensen back to Germany.
He stated, “It [Wober] is one they are evaluating; there is interest in the duo from Germany from what I am hearing. There’s a good likelihood that both will leave; I believed Kristensen would stay, but I don’t think he wants to play in the second tier, which is usually an issue when these guys return. There’s a significant likelihood they’ll both depart.”
Leeds get green light for Kristensen replacement.
Kristensen’s departure leaves Leeds with even less depth at right-back than they already had, having lost Connor Roberts, Archie Gray, and Jamie Shackleton.
Jayden Bogle has been identified as the player Farke wants to reinforce that position, with Leeds rejecting two approaches thus far.
While negotiations with Sheffield United appear to be ongoing, it appears the player has given his approval.
Bailey told LeedsUnited.News that Bogle wants to move to Elland Road and believes the deal will be completed in due course.
