Leeds United are one of several Championship clubs interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
Leeds’ attempts to improve on last season’s performance have yet to bear fruit, despite three new arrivals.
Both Willy Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville have been linked with a transfer away, so there will be plenty of options to consider.
Leeds are interested in signing Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace.
According to the Daily Mail, Leeds are among a few Championship clubs that have “expressed interest” in signing Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
Rak-Sakyi, 21, has struggled to get first-team appearances at Selhurst Park due to the plethora of skilled players available.
Sheffield United and Sunderland are also reportedly interested in signing the young right-winger this summer, while Palace considers a loan to advance him, citing Omari Hutchinson’s spell at Ipswich Town last season as a reason for Rak-Sakyi to spend the season in the EFL rather than joining a Premier League rival.
Southampton, led by Russell Martin, attempted to sign the winger but were turned down by the Eagles, who refused to ratify the transfer.
Rak-Sakyi had previously been on loan with Charlton Athletic in 22/23, where he scored 15 goals and assisted eight times in League One.
Rak-Sakyi would effectively address the balance of Leeds’ assault.
Rak-Sakyi is a natural right-winger who can carry the ball, score, and assist, which is the type of addition Leeds should investigate this summer.
He is too brilliant for Leeds or anyone in our division to make a permanent offer to Palace, but a loan may be extremely beneficial.
Rak-Sakyi needs a loan opportunity elsewhere, and the Championship, possibly at Leeds, could be ideal for him.
