The Whites announced another professional contract, with Marley Wilson signing his first deal.
Leeds United have resumed their contract announcements by declaring that youth striker Marley Wilson has signed a one-year professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old has signed a contract until the summer of 2025, joining Joe Richards, Harry Christy, and Reuben Lopata-White in committing their future to the club. Wilson impressed for United’s Under-18s in the FA Youth Cup last season, netting three goals in four games.
He also scored seven goals in eight Under-18 Premier League games, including hat-tricks against Everton and Derby County in a three-game span.
Leeds United issued a statement saying, “We are delighted to announce that Marley Wilson has signed his first professional contract with the club. The attacker has signed a one-year contract with Elland Road, committing his future until 2025.
“A star of the Whites’ journey to the FA Youth Cup final, the 18-year-old scored in each of his first three appearances in the competition, most notably an acrobatic volley in the win over Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.”
Wilson, who can play anywhere along the front line, has also played for our Under-21s in Premier League 2. Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Marley on signing his first professional contract, and we look forward to seeing him progress during his time with the club.”
