Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White is anticipated to continue at the City Ground for the 2024-25 season.

There have been suggestions that Forest could sell Gibbs-White to assist the club meet the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.

However, according to Football Insider, the 24-year-old forward is set to stay with Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad.

The Tricky Trees alleviated their PSR issues by selling Orel Mangala and Moussa Niakhate to French club Lyon.

From a sporting standpoint, Forest have no desire to sell Gibbs-White, who is thought to be content with the East Midlands club.

Gibbs-White, who is under contract with Forest until June 2027, has 11 goals and 18 assists in 80 competitive appearances since arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers for an initial £42.5 million in 2022.

    Luton considering Donley loan move

In the Championship, Luton Town are allegedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Jamie Donley.

Last season, the 19-year-old forward scored six goals and assisted 14 times for Tottenham’s Under-21 team in Premier League 2.

Donley was also given the opportunity to make brief first-team appearances against Manchester City, Newcastle United and Brentford.

According to football.london, newly relegated Luton are one of the clubs interested in signing Donley on loan for the 2024-25 season.

According to the article, Rob Edwards’ side would face competition from fellow Championship teams Bristol City and Oxford United, as well as third-tier Bristol Rovers.

Donley is also being connected with League One club Birmingham City, which is now coached by former Spurs assistant manager Chris Davies.

Tottenham are unwilling to accept a permanent exit, but they are willing to approve a loan deal to provide the teenager consistent playing time.

    Keane’s future hinges on Branthwaite.

Back in the Premier League, Everton centre-back Michael Keane is expected to leave the Merseyside club this summer.

The Toffees have already lost one defender, Ben Godfrey, who has joined Serie A side Atalanta BC.

According to Football Insider, Keane may follow Godfrey out the exit door, depending on whether Jarrad Branthwaite remains an Everton player.

Manchester United is interested in signing the 22-year-old, but Everton’s £70 million asking price is proving to be a stumbling block in negotiations.

If Branthwaite continues at Goodison Park, Everton may consider Keane surplus to needs and attempt to trade him this summer.

Sean Dyche prefers to use Branthwaite and James Tarkowski as his first-choice centre-back pairing, therefore the 31-year-old only made 12 competitive appearances last season.

With Keane in the final year of his contract, the summer transfer window marks Everton’s last chance to secure a reasonable fee for the seasoned defender.
