Tottenham are working hard to sign Club Brugge wonder child Antonio Nusa.
The North London club has been monitoring the adolescent for some time and is actively attempting to earn a top position in acquiring his services.
Brugge is reportedly seeking a £25 million fee for Nusa, along with a loan agreement that would allow the Norwegian international to stay with the Belgian club until the end of the season.
According to the most recent update from Fabrizio Romano, ‘conversations are ongoing’ between the two clubs over the player, with a renewed contact expected in the coming days.
Romano underlines that Nusa prefers to stay with Brugge until the end of the season, rather than leaving in the middle.
In his most recent YouTube video, he explains that Tottenham are interested in signing him this window and loaning him back to Brugge for the rest of the season, but they want to get a deal done swiftly to avoid turning it into a race.
He said:
“Discussions between Tottenham and Club Brugge are underway. According to what I’ve heard, there will be a new contact in the coming days.
“Tottenham wants to sign the player now and have him join in the summer. Nusa does not want to leave Brugge now.”
“There are other clubs in the race. It is not a done deal, which is why Tottenham wants to move quickly.
