The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news, as the Reds are linked with another Brazilian player.
According to reports, Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Monaco’s Brazil international Vanderson.
According to Brazilian outlet RTI Esporte, the Ligue 1 club is bracing for an offer from Napoli as gossip surrounding the 22-year-old escalates.
They say Napoli has already contacted Monaco, who ‘will not object’ if the proper offer comes along, and that while the Serie A club is willing to pay €9 million, Monaco wants closer to €15 million for a player with two international caps.
The article says that Forest and Sevilla are also interested, and his representative, Giuliano Bertolucci, will consider offers from both teams.
Despite missing a number of games due to injury, Vanderson started 20 Ligue 1 games last season, splitting time between right defense and right midfield, and has appeared 84 times for the Principality club. Vanderson transferred to France in January 2022 for a reputed €11 million after making his debut at Gremio. He made his Brazilian debut last summer.
Forest have already been connected with a number of players, despite the fact that the transfer season does not open until tomorrow. As it stands, they have Neco Williams and Ola Aina as alternatives at right back, but the latter spent much of last season on the left. Gonzalo Montiel also spent last season on loan.
