Latest Nottingham Forest news as Nuno Espirito Santo’s Reds face a busy summer transfer window.

Nottingham Forest have not wasted time in preparing their squad for a fresh push on the Premier League next season.

It will be a busy summer at the City Ground, and some groundwork has already been completed. Only a few days have elapsed since their final game of the 2023/24 season, but the Reds have already made some decisions on players.

On Tuesday, the club revealed that goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, defender Felipe, and midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate would leave as free agents this summer. Forest also announced that the loans of Gio Reyna, Divock Origi, Nuno Tavares, Gonzalo Montiel, and Rodrigo Ribeiro have ended, with no indication of whether permanent moves will be pursued.

Meanwhile, Ola Aina and Willy Boly have signed new contracts. Their contracts were set to expire this summer, but they are now signed until 2025, with the club offering Boly the option of a second year.

The contracts of Loic Mbe Soh, Scott McKenna, and Harry Arter are also set to expire this summer. The Reds have not announced the trio’s departure, but they are anticipated to join the list of players to leave.
