West Ham United, Everton, and Crystal Palace are reportedly all interested in Leeds United academy graduate Kalvin Phillips.

The midfielder appears to have no future at Manchester City, as he has struggled to make an impact since arriving from his hometown club Leeds in 2022. He has made only four Premier League appearances this season, with competition for positions fierce at the Etihad Stadium.

According to Sky Sports, a number of clubs are interested in the English international. West Ham, Everton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and Juventus have all expressed interest.

Manchester City are understood to prefer a sale over a loan for the midfielder, however a temporary departure has not been ruled out.

According to the article, a loan charge of around £5 million may be required to get Phillips’ signature, as well as payment of the majority of his earnings in full. Sky Sports understands that nothing formal has been presented to Manchester City, despite the fact that numerous clubs are thought to have expressed interest.

West Ham are understood to have a long-term interest in the 28-year-old, though salaries may be a sticking issue. According to The Telegraph, the Newcastle leadership does not believe Phillips’ acquisition makes financial sense.

However, the story claims that a deal could be restored because there is some chance that something would change as the deadline near.
