Jamie Carragher, a Sky Sports pundit, has reacted to reports that he and Gary Neville have been banned from the City Ground.
Nottingham Forest’s match against Manchester City on Sunday will be televised live on Sky Sports in a crucial encounter for both sides.
However, following the pair’s recent comments against Forest, there has been speculation on social media that the broadcast will be without Carragher and Neville.
Following the loss to Everton last weekend, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side has faced criticism in the media.
Forest was once again on the receiving end of numerous questionable refereeing decisions, prompting the club to take action following the game.
That message, which was released just after full-time, took the football world by storm.
But, having learned of his impending ban from the City Ground, Carragher has gone to social media to clarify a few points.

Forest will now treat every game as a cup final until the end of the season, with Luton Town potentially dropping them into the bottom three today.
The Hatters face an out of form Wolves, and three points would take Rob Edwards’ side out of the relegation zone.
So Forest will be aiming for three points in each of their next four games, even if they are up against the reigning champions.
However, Neville and Carragher’s comments on the club’s latest post on the Everton decisions will have irritated many at Forest.
Neville, in particular, was outspoken in his criticism, demanding that Mark Clattenburg resign from his position.
Carragher also slammed Forest, claiming the club’s assertion that the VAR was biased prior to the game was ‘classless’.
However, after learning that he and his colleague had been barred from the City Ground on Sunday, Carragher fired out at X.
“No, that’s not true. But such a strange response from you, given your prior tweet about the two of us,” he wrote to a fan.
What Chris Wood stated may prove Gary Neville was correct.
Following the game, Neville said that what Forest is doing could be a major distraction for the players in this crucial match.
The players should be focused solely on obtaining three points from their final games, but it is clear that they are being dragged into the VAR mess.
Speaking ahead of the encounter on the weekend, talisman Chris Wood spoke at length about the players’ current state of play following Everton’s selections.
“We were all angry after the game, upset and frustrated,” he said. “I think a lot of clubs have had a lot [of bad decisions] but I do think we’ve had more than our fair share this season – more than we did last season,” he added.
