Jack Harrison, who is currently on loan at Leeds United, is expected to leave the club permanently this summer, according to Football Insider.
On the most recent episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior journalist Pete O’Rourke reported that the winger has little chance of returning if the Whites are promoted this season.
The 27-year-old is now on a season-long loan at Everton, where he has 31 appearances under Sean Dyche, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
O’Rourke told Football Insider that Daniel Farke will want to keep his current wingers if the club returns to the Premier League.
Leeds United loanee ready for permanent Elland Road exit
According to Football Insider on Tuesday (17 April), Leeds could be compelled to sanction another loan for the attacker if they do not win promotion this season.
The Elland Road club is presently third in the Championship table, one point behind Leicester City in second place and two behind league leaders Ipswich Town.
However, the Foxes have a game in hand over Farke’s side, while Southampton are only three points behind the Whites in fourth place, also with a game in hand.
Harrison, meanwhile, is attempting to assist the Toffees at the other end of the Premier League table, as the Merseyside club seeks to avoid relegation.
