Leeds United held their end-of-season awards yesterday night, with the entire squad in attendance, including out-on-loan Luke Ayling.
Leeds are preparing for an important match against Middlesbrough on Monday, knowing that a victory will be required to get back on track.
Luke Ayling, incidentally, will not play that night since he is ineligible against his parent club, which will undoubtedly cause the right-back to experience peculiar and conflicted emotions.
Leeds hosts an awards ceremony, and Ayling, Cooper, and Dallas are among the nominees.
On Thursday evening, Leeds staged an awards event at Elland Road’s Centenary Pavilion, and Ayling was in attendance.
He was nominated for three awards, along with fellow Leeds promotion heroes Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas, who received the Special Achievement Award for not only their long-standing achievements on the pitch, but also their hard work off it:
“All three players have represented Leeds United with professionalism and dedication, both on and off the pitch.
“While their football contributions are undeniable, their work in the community and behind the scenes at the club has been a significant component in this award.
“Everyone at Leeds United recognises the effort and commitment that Liam, Stuart and Luke have given to the club and we are delighted to see them honoured at our 2023/24 Awards.”

Pablo Hernandez was among those who congratulated Ayling, Cooper, and Dallas on their many years of tremendous service to the club.
He gave a pretty simple reaction to the trio he used to play with, saying on the club’s Instagram:
Legends is an excellent word for these three in Leeds.
The way these three have played for Leeds and committed to the club, particularly under Marcelo Bielsa, has been remarkable.
It’s remarkable to consider how good we were during that period under the Argentines, given how awful we were prior to that.
Furthermore, it’s great to see that these three have been recognized for their achievements, including Ayling, who is currently on someone else’s books.
