Manchester City, the FA Cup holders, have been drawn away to Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round.
The Citizens opened their trophy defence with a 5-0 victory over Championship side Huddersfield Town at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s team will have a difficult trip to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham, who beat Burnley 1-0 at home on Friday.
The fourth round also features three all-Premier League ties, with Chelsea facing Aston Villa at home, Fulham hosting Newcastle United, and Brighton & Hove Albion facing Sheffield United away.
Meanwhile, top-flight leaders Liverpool have been given a favorable home draw against either Norwich City of the Championship or Bristol Rovers of League One at Anfield.
The winners of a third-round replay between Newport County and non-league Eastleigh will face either Wigan Athletic or Manchester United at home in the fourth round, while National League South’s Maidstone United – the competition’s lowest-ranked team – will travel to Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town.
All fourth-round matches are scheduled to take place during the weekend of January 27.
