Rasmus Kristensen, a Denmark international, has performed admirably since leaving Leeds United for Roma, making 27 appearances in Serie A.
According to sources, Leeds United would consider offers for defender Rasmus Kristensen this summer. According to Football Insider, the 26-year-old is unlikely to feature in Daniel Farke’s plans next season, regardless of which division the Whites play in.
After being relegated to the Championship in 2023, United loaned Kristensen to Roma. Kristensen has established himself as a first-team regular with the Serie A club, making 27 appearances across all competitions. The Danish international has scored once and assisted twice.
According to Football Insider, Kristensen has been judged surplus to needs at Elland Road. Kristensen, who joined West Yorkshire from RB Salzburg for an estimated £10 million two years ago, is under contract with the Whites until June 2027.
Kristensen is now sidelined due to a muscular ailment, which could keep him out of play for a month. This season, he has played as a right wing-back, right back, centre-back, and left back.
As things stand, the Whites are poised to make an immediate return to the Premier League. After a well-deserved 2-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday last week, Daniel Farke’s side moved ahead of Ipswich Town into second place. It was their 11th victory in 12 matches since Christmas.
United, who face old rivals Millwall on Sunday, are tight on the trail of table-toppers Leicester. With the Foxes next in FA Cup quarter-final action against Premier League club Chelsea, three points for the Whites against the Lions would put them at the top of the table moving into the international break.
