Micky van de Ven is one of Tottenham Hotspur’s successful players under head coach Ange Postecoglou, and Eric Dier is a fan.

Micky van de Ven joined Tottenham Hotspur from VfL Wolfsburg during the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old Netherlands international defender had the option of moving to Liverpool, but he selected Tottenham due to a better possibility of consistent playing time.

Van de Ven established himself as a first-team regular at Spurs, prompting Dier’s departure from the North London club in midseason. He moved to Bayern Munich.

Eric Dier praised Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven.

Dier, who can play as a defender or a midfielder, praised Van de Ven, who just set a Premier League record for the quickest player.

According to The Times, Dier assisted Van de Ven in settling in and is enthusiastic about “a 6ft 5in centre back who’s the fastest player ever in the Premier League and can play as well.”
