Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side will travel to Nottingham Forest on Saturday as the Premier League title race heats up and their hosts battle for top flight survival.
Liverpool travel to the City Ground on Saturday afternoon hoping to finish another match-week at the top of the standings.
The Reds are on a high following their Carabao Cup final victory over Chelsea last Sunday, but Jurgen Klopp understands that now is not the time for Liverpool to celebrate. In fact, a quadruple is still possible, considering that his team has reached the last eight of the FA Cup, leads the Premier League, and is in the knockout stages of the Europa League, the secondary European competition available to clubs.
TNT Sports has no games to cover this weekend. Sky Sports will broadcast both Sunday’s games, including the Manchester derby at the Etihad, as well as Arsenal’s visit to Bramall Lane on Monday night to face Sheffield United.
Liverpool’s matchup with Forest is one of six games starting at 3pm on Saturday afternoon, thus it will not be aired live due to the Premier League’s blackout rule, which prohibits any game played between 2:45pm and 5:15pm on Saturday from being shown on television.
The rule has been criticized, but it will remain in place until at least 2029, following the Premier League’s agreement on a new TV rights deal just before the turn of the year.
