According to Ray Parlour, Leeds United will have Leicester City looking over their shoulders in the Championship title chase from now until the conclusion of the season.
Daniel Farke’s side is presently second in the Championship table, six points behind the Foxes, with 12 games remaining in the season, having defeated Enzo Marseca’s side 3-1 at Elland Road last time out.
While Parlour believes the Whites’ recent form will worry Leicester, he has spoken with Alan Brazil live on air, who has stated that Ipswich Town are still in the title chase despite being level on points with Leeds.
On talkSPORT on Friday (1 March), he said: “Leicester have just got to look over their shoulder for Leeds United now, haven’t they in the Championship.”
McCoist swiftly fired back, saying, “And Ipswich of course.”
Can Daniel Farke help Leeds United defeat Leicester City to the Championship title?
The atmosphere around Elland Road has been extremely buoyant in recent weeks, thanks in part to the Whites’ incredible comeback victory over top-of-the-table Leicester City at Elland Road last time out in the Championship.

Not long ago, several commentators and supporters questioned if Farke’s side had enough to win automatic promotion back to the Premier League, but they are now firmly in the title battle.
It remains to be seen whether Leeds will have enough to narrow the gap on the Foxes during the final 12 games of the season, but they are now very much in with a chance of winning some silverware this year.
Hopefully, Farke’s side will continue to improve against Huddersfield Town on Saturday (2 March) and move closer to the top of the standings.
