‘WOW…’ ROBBIE SAVAGE CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT HE IS HEARING ABOUT LEEDS UNITED RIGHT NOW

Leeds United are on a roll like no other, and they will aim to strike Chelsea’s open wounds in the FA Cup on Wednesday.

The Elland Road crowd will be hoping that this is a Premier League encounter next season, as they have every chance of returning after defeating leaders Leicester City on Friday night.

Some may now pick Daniel Farke’s team to secure the final automatic position – they are level on points with third-placed Ipswich Town – but Chris Sutton has gone a step further and predicted Leeds United to win the Championship altogether.

That stunned former Leicester City footballer Robbie Savage, who went on to ask his colleague commentator numerous times if he truly meant what he said, as he informed 606.

The Yorkshire team is currently six points behind the Foxes, who also boast a stronger goal difference despite losing two consecutive games.

If Leeds are to pull off the impossible, their promotion opponents must lose more games, which will be difficult given that they have lost 6 of 34.

While Leeds supporters believe, so does Chris Sutton after their current performance, but it appears that his partner in crime needs to be convinced.

Will Leeds United win the Championship?

“Chris, do you think Leeds and Leicester are the two who will go up,” he replied.

Sutton said, “It appears that way. “I think Leeds will win it.”

Savage was shocked: “Do you? To win the title? Wow. Leeds are about to win the Championship?! Woof.”

Leeds United play Chelsea for the FA Cup.

Following Chelsea’s disappointment in the League Cup final at Wembley, Leeds have an opportunity to capitalise on their present low mood.

The players will be on the floor, and the last thing they need is a youthful, bright, and high-energy club from Yorkshire to make matters worse.

But what an opportunity for Leeds! They have nothing to lose, and it’s apparent that their top objective is to secure promotion.

Given that the crowd at Stamford Bridge may be a little restless, scoring the first goal will undoubtedly make things interesting.
