Jeff Stelling revealed he “loved” watching Leeds United beat Leicester 3-1 at Elland Road on Friday, February 23.

The talkSPORT anchor responded to Danny Baker’s question on how the home side won, arguing that they would always score more if they scored first.

After Leicester squandered numerous second-half opportunities, Connor Roberts, Archie Gray, and Patrick Bamford sealed all three points for Leeds.

“What a game,” he commented. “How did Leicester lose?” Answer: Because they were in Leeds, and you knew if the home team got one, they’d get more. Two excellent teams. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it.

He also commented to a fan on the game’s controversies: “The result is due to Leicester missing a lorry load of chances.” And Leeds had incredible momentum when they scored.”

Are Leeds United aiming for the Championship title?

    Wow, what an evening.

Elland Road has not looked like this in a long time, with all four sides of the stadium jumping as soon as Roberts’ goal went in.

After that, it appeared that only one winner would emerge, and Gray and Bamford secured a massive victory.

Ipswich and Southampton may win again on Saturday, February 24, to stay in contention, but they are nowhere near Leeds’ current level.

Regarding any debate, no one can argue that football is far more pleasant without VAR, and it’s not like many Leicester players were protesting about the judgment at the time.

Craig Pawson delivered a shocker for both sides, but Leeds are currently leading the way.
