Newcastle’s new stadium designs will provide for the future while preserving the present.

According to reports, a new’super stadium’ with a capacity of 65,000 will be erected on Leazes Park, with chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan said to be completely supportive after discussions in the North East following the Nottingham Forest thriller.

Darren Eales has told the media that a final decision will be taken in the “near future,” with the board considering St. James’ Park’s status as a host stadium for Euro 2028.

Newcastle United’s stadium plans appear to provide multiple benefits for the club’s future goals and earnings.

According to Craig Hope of The Mail, St James’ Park will continue to host Euro 2028 because new stadium designs have no influence on the current site.

There have been conflicting stories about Newcastle United’s new home. The Telegraph originally suggested that the new stadium will overlap the current site, but Hope said it will not infringe on St. James.

If Hope is correct in a follow-up post on his Leazes Park exclusive, St. James will be permitted as a host stadium in three years as construction is set to begin nearby.

Some alterations will be required to St James’ to meet UEFA’s host standards, including media and stadium perimeters, although this is not expected to be a problem.

A fresh look for a new era.

Earlier this month, NUFC Blog exclusively disclosed that Newcastle are looking at the multi-purpose stadium of NFL team the Las Vegas Raiders as a potential influence for their new stadium.

The Allegiant Stadium, which debuted in 2020, can accommodate 65,000 fans and has already hosted the Super Bowl, Wrestlemania, and Copa America in its brief history.

A multi-purpose stadium appears to be a foregone conclusion given PIF’s links to boxing and the club’s desire to boost revenue in as many ways as possible, and the Allegiant’s infrastructure is claimed to have impressed club executives.
