Path cleared as ‘Blockbuster’ Rangers takeover update surfaces, according to report

The San Francisco 49ers appear to be a step closer to completing the takeover of the Rangers, with talks in advanced stages.

The takeover could be completed in a few weeks, with the NFL heavyweights owning a majority ownership in the Ibrox club.

Dave King is believed to have approved the deal, which is a significant boost given that he is currently the single largest shareholder.

Rangers and San Francisco 49ers have cleared the path for the takeover.

While the takeover is something that all parties seem to want, there are expected to be hurdles, particularly in terms of UEFA regulations.

Also, as the 49ers already own Leeds United, there is a further layer of complexities with regards to dual-club ownerships.

However, in what is regarded as a significant boost for Gers, the SFA has cleared the way for such a strategy.

The Daily Record published a “blockbuster” update, noting that things are now closer than they have ever been.

Paraag Marathe, the chief executive of the 49ers’ investment arm, is said to be at the forefront of the Rangers acquisition.

The San Francisco 49ers can bring back the glory days of Ibrox.

The NFL side is one of the best run teams in the United States, and their impact on football cannot be overstated.

Leeds United lost a lot of big-name players this summer after narrowly failing to secure promotion last season, and it was expected that they would finish nowhere near the top of the table.

However, the 49ers remained with Daniel Farke, made some wise investments with the proceeds from large sales, and Leeds now appear stronger than they were a year ago.

The Gers, too, need key players on high incomes to leave as soon as possible, and by making clever transfers, they can not only bridge the gap with rivals Celtic, but also become Scotland’s top team for years.
