Now, 24 hours out from the traditional Friday press conference, punters are now waiting with baited breath over what comes next. Record Sport understands the Ibrox side will hold their usual media duties, with Clement and a player speaking to the assembled press pack in the early afternoon.
But fans are also hoping for an official statement from the club with the Rangers Fan Advisory Board revealing the minutes from a wide-ranging sitdown with Patrick Stewart to be made available in the near future. The latest meeting took place before the shock defeat to the Spiders, however, fans are itching for correspondence from the club in the wake of a defeat which has condemned Rangers to an almost certain season without domestic silverware.
It’s been a week of quiet reflection but there is now nowhere to escape. Clement will speak and fans expect answers of substance. The first team squad will also be snapped during their pre-match training session ahead of the visit to Tynecastle.
