Leeds United were far from their best when they faced Millwall in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Whites lost 2-0 to Alex Neil’s side and appeared to be on the back foot for the whole of the game.
Fortunately for West Yorkshire, now that the FA Cup is no longer an issue, they can devote their full attention to achieving Premier League promotion.
While Daniel Farke made ten changes to his starting XI, it felt like they should have fought more.
However, because so many changes were made to his team, Willy Gnonto received a starting jersey, and youngster Sam Chambers also began the game.
According to Graham Smyth, the two were seen having a wonderful off-camera rendezvous.

The Whites have been one of the most dominant powers in the league since the season took off and to be quite truthful, it was quite a surprise to see them succumb to a defeat against the Lions.
Players like Ethan Ampadu and Josuha Guilavogui performed much below expectations and were probably a major factor for Leeds’ defeat.
However, in an article for the Yorkshire Evening Post’s website on February 9, Smyth disclosed an off-camera encounter between Gnonto and Chambers that the manager will have really appreciated.
“Willy Gnonto applauding Chambers after playing the youngster into space on the right only for him to concede a free-kick, encouraging him to continue with that kind of movement,” he recorded.
Sam Chambers could have a bright future with Leeds United.
Although Chambers’ first start of the season came against the Lions, it was clear how talented the youngster is.
While he didn’t steal the show, his movement on and off the field was quite outstanding, and he more than filled Brenden Aaronson’s role.
He even created Leeds’ first chance of the game, sending a half-volley barely over the crossbar following a corner kick.
Chambers created a few opportunities for his teammates and even had a few of his own as the game progressed.
The 17-year-old was caught in the 69th minute, but he can reflect on his debut start for the West Yorkshire club with satisfaction.
Only time will tell if Farke has any immediate intentions for the youngster’s future, but based on the 70 minutes he played on Saturday, it’s clear that the Whites have a tremendous talent on their hands, which is all they could ask for.
