Dr Rajpal Brar believes Middlesbrough forward Emmanuel Latte Lath would pass his physical with ease, despite links to Leeds United.
According to the injury specialist, his fitness record appears to be great, and he also plays consistently in the Championship, which decreases the likelihood of any setbacks while joining a new team.
It is claimed that the Whites are serious about signing the 26-year-old [Give Me Sport, 8 January], but he could end up joining Atalanta United for £20 million.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a Physical Therapist and Sports Scientist, said of Latte Lath: “He has a terrific fitness record and has been playing consistently.
“He’s also got Championship experience so the adaptability to a new team will be easier.”
Leeds United are unlikely to spend £20 million on a January transfer
While the Whites would love to have a player of Latte Lath’s caliber, spending that much money on him seems unrealistic right now.
It is more likely that they will sign someone on loan and then make it permanent if they are promoted.
As things stand, Daniel Farke’s team appears to be on track for a top-two finish, but they would still like to add fresh players in the January transfer window.
