Philippe Clement has assured Rangers fans that Danilo’s injury is not a recurrence of an earlier incident.
The Ibrox manager underlined that, while there is no substantial update on his condition, the shoulder problem is not a reoccurring issue linked to the striker’s previous troubles.
Danilo had to be replaced at halftime in the 3-0 victory over Aberdeen after picking up a knock in the first 45 minutes.
He was replaced by Nedim Bajrami during the break, although there is no update on the injury or a comeback date.
Robin Propper then hobbled out with 15 minutes remaining in the Scottish Premiership match.
Again, Clement agreed that it is too early to provide any advice on the severity of the injury.
When asked for an update on the couple, Clement replied, “I can’t say anything about it.
“I know that people are concerned about Dani’s prior injuries. It has nothing to do with that, nor does it revolve around it, but we’ll see in the coming days.
“I can’t say anything about it. Maybe it’s not so horrible, or maybe it’s for the long term. We’ll see in the next several days.”
