Jeremias Ledesma, the River Plate goalkeeper, has been added to Leeds United’s winter transfer list.
According to River Noticias, Leeds wants to bring the 31-year-old to Elland Road.
The stopper joined River Plate from Cádiz CF last summer, has played four games, and has not appeared since October.
River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo preferred captain Franco Armani over the Leeds target last year.

According to reports, Daniel Farke’s side is’very interested’ in signing Ledesma during the current transfer window. The report goes on to say that because Gallardo hasn’t relied on the player frequently at River Plate, he is willing to ‘let him go’.
Celta Vigo and Deportivo Alavés made initial contact to try to bring Ledesma back to Spain, but made no more progress.
The goalie may consider leaving River Plate and returning to Europe, where the Whites are one of his prospective clubs.
Illan Meslier is Leeds’ first-choice goalkeeper, with Karl Darlow and Alex Cairns as backups, all of whom have contracts that expire in 2026.
