Liverpool have been advised that Southampton’s Tyler Dibling is theirs if they want him. The 18-year-old is gaining a big reputation.
Liverpool is constantly on the lookout for the best young talents in the game, and it looks they have their sights set on one more. Tyler Dibling, who is currently on fire for Southampton, is an intriguing prospect.
Dibling earned his Premier League debut this season and has excelled in a struggling Saints squad. He’s demonstrated this in a variety of places, including the middle and right flank, as well as in a game up top.
The youth could be the long-term solution to Mo Salah’s problem. The problem is that the Egyptian is human and will not live eternally.
However, dibling is available. Or at least he is expected to be, as Southampton will struggle to keep him if they are relegated this season.
The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle United are interested. However, the Magpies are not only waiting for the Saints, but also for Liverpool.
Liverpool likes Tyler Dibling.
The fascinating statement in this one is that if Liverpool ‘firms up’ their interest in Dibling, they will jump to the front of the queue. It implies that the Reds aren’t completely sold on the adolescent but know that the moment they are, he’ll be coming to Anfield.
The major question, then, is do Liverpool need him? Ben Doak is a promising potential on that wing as it is, while Harvey Elliott is another who can cover the right flank.
But Dibling appears to be a natural, and unlike Doak, he is proving he can perform in the Premier League. This will naturally pique Liverpool’s interest.
So this one is worth keeping an eye on. Dibling is a brilliant potential who only gets brighter.
Liverpool also know the player will transfer to them over anyone else if they make their move – a fairly great bargaining position. So we’ll see if it’s a position the Reds want to take advantage of.
