Tottenham Hotspur have recently prioritized the acquisition of some of Europe’s elite players.
Ange Postecoglou has brought players such as Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray to north London since his appointment last summer.
Hotspur Way’s scouting has not been restricted to Europe, with South Korean prodigy Yang Min-hyeok expected to join Tottenham in January.
But the early indicators are good, with Bergvall and Gray impressing Postecoglou since joining the club earlier this year.
And the Lilywhites are now seeking to continue their excellent streak of signing some of the best players around.
TBR Football understands Tottenham are interested in recruiting Leeds United youngster Harry Gray, Archie Gray’s younger brother.
Tottenham have told Leeds that they want Harry Gray.
According to TBR sources, the north London team has already told Leeds that they want to recruit the 15-year-old striker.
Spurs are keen to keep in touch with the Yorkshire club about his younger brother, Archie, who has already moved in.
However, Tottenham are not the only club interested in the Leeds ‘wonderkid’.
TBR understands Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle United are also interested in the gifted kid.
Gray does not turn 16 until next month, but he is currently playing in the U18 Premier League, where he has eight goals in 11 matches.
What Archie Gray said about Harry Gray
Archie, who joined Spurs early in the summer transfer season, has previously spoken about his younger brother, who is still on the books at Leeds.
During his time at Leeds, Archie revealed he hoped to play with Harry one day, and that dream could now come true in north London in the coming years.
“He’s a good player, I don’t want to say too much,” Archie told Sky Sports earlier this year.
“He’ll get big-headed. If he continues to train hard, I am confident he will be doing what I am doing. I’d want to play with him someday; it would be like Eddie and Frank again.”
